Our model was done on size 11 needles using Patons Knit and Save Mohair. Aprox. 965 yards to a skein. We had about 200 yards left and so could have made "The Thing" longer or wider or both. It is the large size.

When you finish knitting you will have a piece that is the shape of a + sign. Fold it in half through the sleeves. There is no opening on the fold. Sew the underarm and side seams. When you put your arms in the sleeves the ribbing along the bottom opening forms the collar and lower ribbing. I think I am going to take the yarn left over and put cuffs on the sleeves. I like to push my sleeves up a little.
